I've got a couple of subdomains configured using .htaccess files, and awstats is configured to grab all the stats of "andycc.net".

Is it possible to configure awstats so that i can choose to display a certain subdomain (such as forums.andycc.net)?

I used to be able to do this on my old host, but it was all graphically-based on the server (couldn't access awstats config files) and was wondering if anyone knows how to do it?

Do I need separate installations of awstats?

Cheers

You can't use Awstats in that manner, it runs for the entire site only.

You can use a stat program such as PowerPhlogger (http://www.phpee.com/) which allows you to set each page you want to run stats on.

nmsupplies setup PowerPhlogger and was allowing users to sign up to use it on their pages. His post for this is here:

I have used awstats for this before, on my old host, i just couldn't get to the config files to find out how.

It had a parameter in the request URL, like andycc.net/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?subdomain=whatever.andycc.net and that showed the stats for just the subdomain.
