Designing blindly

Good day ladies & gents!

I have a site here at PowWeb, it's constatly under development and I am ALWAYS adding new stuff onto it. But this question got to my mind, do users like what I am doing with the site?

I like it...easy to navigate, simple, and quick. The top image seems to be a little hard to read, but if you typed the address in your browser...you're gonna know what it is.

The only thing is the forum, there is no way to go back to the 'main site'. Try customizing that forum if you have some ectra time. :D

My 9 year old cousin could read it 5ft. away from the monitor with a screen resolution of 1024x768! :D

On the ToDo list already, check the main page ;)

There are alot of typo's and spelling errors especially in "About me" The tittle is clearly visible but the font is difficult to decipher for me to. I know the forum is new but hope you skin it to match the rest of your site/colors. Link the banner to home from every page.

It's a bit black and white for me but each to his own - perhaps adding some coloured icons to spice it up a bit. Forum stats are a bit low at the moment and may put people off visiting the forums. Forums llok nice - I like the Christmas skin. You might have to start doing some posts yourself to get it going. A nice site though. Good luck with it.
