View Full Version : Space - Regular problems

Every morning for the last week between 08:00 and 09:00 GMT - When I most need to use my site, it's been running at the speed of spring sap.

Is there some regular problem, or routine maintenance at this time?

I would appreciate availability, on a regular basis at this particular time.

Any chance of looking into the problem, please?

IIRC, that's when it's Midnight Pactific time. If so, that's when Powweb's webstats are run as well as a lot of customers using cron to either run their own stats or just update jobs.

Just after midnight (server time) is always like this on every shared-hosting web host - everyone wants to run their jobs at the same time. It isn't a problem with a dedicated machine since sys-admins know enough not to put all their jobs at the same time...

It's never been much of a problem before this last week, Jeff.

Since GMT doesn't change, this would shift the time by an hour.

Also, as Powweb's stats become more unreliable, more people are running their own. This might/might not have something to do with it too.
