andromeda down again

Andromeda is down again, no site, no ftp. It went down yesterday for about 3 hrs then came back up. When you run a trace on the ip it gets no response from andromeda. Crashed at about the same time today as yesterday. I sent a mail to support both yesterday and today. Got the ususal reply yesterday of couldn't find anything wrong after what ever the problem was got fixed. I hope the same happens today. :p
Would it kill these guys to just say sorry the server crashed but its fixed now instead of pretending there was never a problem. Its not like they are fooling anybody. ;)

andromeda was not down. and we were not trying to fool anyone. One of our admins removed the old IP address from the machine to see how much traffic was going over it yet. We changed the IP's a couple weeks ago and all the new ip's should have filtered out through the net, but there are always straglers. Your ISP's DNS servers probably have the old IP still cached. If your doing your own DNS make sure you are using the new IP address. The old IP was readded to the machine but at the end of December we will no longer have those IPs.
