getting domain name to appear in explorer

how do i get my personal domain name to appear in bookmarks (i.e. instead of "powweb hosting" which is what it says now...)

That comes from the TITLE HTML tag of the page you save as a bookmark. The default "under construction" page will have the generic name - if you replace it with your own page, put whatever you want there.

is that something i change in dreamweaver?

Yes. When you are creating the page, there is a Title field that Dreamweaver displays. Set it to be whatever you want.

Note that you will have to re-add the Favorite to get the new name to show up there.
