We have been working on this site for a few months, it is supposed to be a community for people into technology. All of the scripts are homemade (the only thing on the site that isnt is the emoticons)..can u please just mention any suggestions you have or any bugs you encounter...also we need people to staff the forums and people to submit news..if you are intersested just make a post or email us at snet@ny-labs.com ..thanx in advance :-)

well, i can tell you this much. your site is very fast and effecient. i tried to reply to forum but there was a blank reply, don't know if it was because i wasn't registered or not. the site overall is sleek, fast, and easy to navigate. the color theme is a bit too monochrome for me, looks like a cloudy, rainy day. hope you've tried other color schemes. good luck and good work.

Looks good, and I agree - such a FAST load (good work there!). An addition of at least 1 color would be nice, even if it were light blue or beige - but that probably comes down to personal tastes - it certainly wouldn't keep me from your site.

The only things that stand out at me is that some of the font is very tiny (still readable, but my eyes are still pretty young). Given your target audience, this may not be an issue; and the poll having the options centered makes it harder to read (a left align there would clear that up right quick)

I also don't see a 'contact us' area, which may be a good addition (may not?<G>).

All in all, A+ job - navigation is clear, and nothing is moving all the time distracting me from the txt.

thanx again for the responses...the major con ppl tend to have is w/ the colors so we will work on that..(and maybe some text options)...also plz feel free to make a username...

it's very nice. but you went to all the trouble of writing it from scratch and it looks just like a puke - i mean - NUKE portal.

but if your code is more efficient than the puke portals you should bundle it up and sell it to people. you could sell it cheap and become famous as the guy who finally made a portal program that didn't suck.

don't make it open source though. those other nuke fools would ruin it in a few months...

LOL...actually we were gonna make the portal usin php nuke and then we realized php nuke could be much better (and more versatile) so we started this and plan to work on it and package it (and yeah we wont make it open source)....when we r ready to package we will let the admins use their own css templates and such...the other thing w/ nuke was they didnt have there own forum script built in it was phpbb and was annoyin and didnt really go right...
