Delete Web User

Hey guys,

I created a web user today that I need to delete now, but for the life of me I can't seem to get rid of it using OPS! Can't even deactivate it. So does any know how to remove a web user using OPS?

Once you deactivate the user, then you will be able to delete.

It's not instant ... the system has to update. I've seen it take as long as 24 hrs before the delete option appears.

One last ? The only user that you cannot delete is the primary user.

You need to contact support@powweb.com with the username you wish to disable, they will disable it.

Alpha, he seems to be talking about WEBUSERS not users. OPS users to be certain.

Yup, I'm talking about WEB USERS, and I actually want this user deleted not just deactivated.

I shot off an e-mail to Powweb Support so I'll just wait a while now. Thanks as always guys.

I don't think they can delete it, they disable it entirely that not even you can edit it, nor it can access his/her account. Once that is done, the user is gone forever.

As long as its deactivated and I dont see it in my Control Panel, I'm good.. :)

Update. Problem fixed!

OPS Control Panel allows you to manage (including delete) FTP and SMTP users, but to delete web users you gotta go through Powweb support. Found that out that hard way :)
