well.. the intro set a mood that I expected to be carried out in the pages. If I were to suggest any changes to the intro, it would be to use more 'clear' photographs.. most of them seemed a bit out of focus. Otherwise, I felt it to be good (for the topic).

On to the pages.. Though the header is very nicely done - the mood you instilled w/your flash intro conflicts w/the header. I personally would also like an 'off' option in the header (moving things are distracting when one is trying to read <G>).

I have a LOT of white (well.. black) space to the right, you are commended for designing for the 800x600 crowd.. but if you allowed the contents of your page to go wider when the room is available it will look more professional.

The blue links are hard to see on black (least to me :))

I'd suggest a contact script in place of email addy's (keep the spam bots away), as well as copyright footers.

On some of your secondary pages the txt is aligned center, making it hard to read.

There.. that's me being nitpicky. On the plus sides.. I can see you've put a ton of work into this, and it shows. I really like your header graphic & navigation, and the way the header breaks things up from being 'boxy'. Good work :)

i like the site in overall, good shade of blue, logo with the spinning wheel and smoke are very clever, easy to nav, you have some broken links as well. didn't like the intro.

BTW... I dont like the intro either. It demonstrates my lack of flash ability (then not now).

Thanks for the input. The intro is fuzzy and I am working on the new one. I created that intro with very little flash knowledge and it was something quick and dirty. I understand what it looks like with all the extra space. I have a 21inch monitor and it is a hella lot of room. there is so much room that my background graphic repeats and I have a little blue too.

When I redesign the site (which I do once a year) I am going to have it centered to the page so it splits the white space in half. I am not sure if I am going to have a 100% wide site until I finish learning how to use php better. Than I think I will deploy a php site. I am also working on a all flash site for the broadband users.

Anywho... thanks for the comments.

If anyone else would like to give me more comments on how they would like to see the site redesigned that would be great.

Agree with all the above...but I actually like the intro...but its a little too grainy...especially for being 362kb.

Your flash header and content should at least fit fill up 800x600...so maybe make it wider. 775 is good...and try it with 100%...so it fills up the screen no matter on the resolution (check header to see how it looks first).

But I like it...I'm sure you spent many hours on it...especially all the intros for the members. Its one of the better organized/designed car club sites I've seen.

thanks, I actually update the site every tuesday night. So I do spend a lot of time on it but I dont get upset when someone tells me that my stuff sucks. You get used to criticism when you are a graphic and web designer.

But thanks for all the comments. All will help me when doing the redesign.

Mike

P.S. Keep them coming!!!
