Pretty clean. Nice. I especially like the fact that there's an Apple PowerBook G4 in the top graphic. :D

Nice start...clean and simple. But alot of horizontal scrolling in 800x600 resolution. I think the text on the banner could be alittle more 'exciting'.

But great start:cool:

Thanks! Ill see what i can do with the text in the header. I didn't even notice that the laptop was a powerbook. :p Except for the fact that i dont like macs, but hey ive never even had one.

I personally like the header graphic...I'd like to see the page with some content to see how it "reads"...all in all, I like it

This isn't a website critique. It is a web design layout critique. It looks nice, but at 800x600 screen resolution, I would not be able to see the ads you plan to place on the right side of the page. Then I wouldn't click on them!

It is a clean, simple design that is easy to read and navigate. Don't forget the copyright info at the bottom of the page. And the title and meta tags when completed.

Its sharp, I like that. But as mentioned already, it doesn't fit into an 800x600 page. I know I know, but there are still people on an 800x600 res!! And as it's a webmaster resource, you will get a lot of them browsing in... So if webmasters come to your site for help, and it doesn't look right, they will leave without even browsing any content... so before you go ahead and do more work on it I'd tighten it in a bit...

nice domain name! good grab!

There we go! I changed the size of it, should look perfect in 800x600. Kinda squashed now though :( All well, better that then losing customers. Thanks for all of your input so far!

YAY! I use 800x600 screen resolution, because I have difficulty seeing by the end of the day. Now I can see your ads! :)

Nice job on the Flash tutorial! Of course, I would just use CSS to create a hover effect on a rectangular button. You should make an example that is an unusual or that the button changes shape and not just color. Show people when it is best to use Flash.

<whisper>you can always take a little peek at flashkit.com (http://www.flashkit.com) and get some ideas from there. </whisper>

Just a suggestion, but you might want to get some different browsers to check your work with.

Your Flash tutorial is not rendering the same in Mozilla or Netscape as it does in IE.

In Mozilla Firebird the "In that layer create a rectangle shape" is over the top of the image.

In Netscape your images and text are rather helter-skelter and show no consistancy in placement.

P.S. Writing tutoials is never easy, but always fun and rewarding ;)
