Graphic Challenge Fire and Glass

Time for another Graphic Challenge :)

The Rules: It must contain Fire And Glass.
It must be original.
It must be a still image (no animations).
You can use whatever you like to create it.
You can only enter 1 final image (best before Feb 1).
Newbies get a bonus vote.
For annonomys entries pm me.(If you put them inline (in your post here) please keep it small)

Challenge closes Feb 1. Then I'll put up a one week poll.

when you say "original" can we incorporate other 3rd party objects into the scene, for example if i wanted say a dragon would i have to model this myself or could i use a premade one ?

( i will try to be more original and avoid having a dragon..well at least not a big one )

Ok here is my effort ( so far)

i was racking my brains trying to think of a fire/glass composition and this idea came to me ..well in the pub :D

All made in cinema 4d, glasses are lathed splines with sphere particles for bubbles

the candle is a rerun of one i made some time ago, i forgot how to do it so this was a good exercise

the wasp ( hey they love beer) is a simple nurbs with extrusions for legs and antennae. I have not got the texture right especially on the wings ( err.. the wasp was thrown in for my DOF experiments)

table is a falltenned cube with a wood texture on color and displacement, similar for the wall

i was really experimenting with depth of field and thought i may as well make something for the challenge, i have not quite mastered the DOF but at least it is not as flat looking as it would be without it

Oh shut up paul..it's crap !!! well at least i have that out of the way :D

Color me impressed :) Those are, as my generation would say, "really cool". Nice work.

I think the firenglass_01 is my favorite, although the one with the babe inside is a very close second :D

Thanks jj. I like the gal too. Her name is Beyonce Knowles. I'm working on the sausers for my final. Still need to work in some glass. Glass windows on the sausers. Don't think c_h will buy that.
