Database error

I want to install phpBB 206 to my host. But everytime I take a warning :

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database



What is the cause? (Before install a phpBB 2.0.6 I made an empty database as a same name, my databes. Ýs that the problem. I couldn't delete it, on my phpmyadmin board. How can I iý done? )

First I tried to install mysql version 3.x.x , but I changed it true as a version 4.x.x. So at that time I take a warning :

I think that if YOU delete my current database "askmasali", I will not take this warning when I installing. Who can delete my current database now?

There is no need to delete your current database. That will have no impact on installing the script.

Go to the mysql tab in OPS, and double check the server, database name, user name and password that you are using to connect.

Yes I checked. My mysql database and the database which I want to install is same name. But everytime I take a warning.
