Depends on what you want. PSP has a nice selection of vector presets and text but you know what they are like or do you want vector pictures.

You have to register to download: http://vector-images.com/examples.php
Untested but free?: http://www.nvtech.com/downloads/free/
Not many here: http://www.arkstock.com/freesamples.htm

You can use a raster to vector program to convert multiple formats to vector but most have limited time trials. I don't know of a free one, but that would give you a much greater range of images to work with. Of course PhotoShop and PaintShop Pro can save as .eps to.

Just remember to save the original PSD document to save layers since saving to .EPS will save as one layer.

I've been working with PSP and it's vector image editor without much glee. And while doing so I remembered a long time ago I purchased Microsoft Office2000 Premium and it has a lot of ClipArt related to their PhotoDraw product. So I pulled it out and low it has more that 11,500 .wmf files (.wmf is M/S vector format). At the going rate for vector ClipArt on the internet by the image these babies are worth about $6,000. Anyway, if you or someone you know has this product you've got a s h i t pot load of vectors.

Please read the rules about the wmf (Windows Media Format) clip art. It can be used for personal use only. And if you want to convert wmf to gif or jpg, remember to uncheck Read-Only on the image properties. Windows XP users don't need to do that, do they?

YvetteKuhns, if your referring to me, I only said at the going rate for vector ClipArt on the internet as a reference of worth not a suggestion for enterprise. Bill Gates will greatly appreciate your concern for his property. After all don't we all stay between the lines all the time especially for those a s s holes who are always concerned for other peoples' copy rights.

muijefr, I didn't say YOU were using the clip art incorrectly. I was actually thinking of a client who used MS Clip Art for his logo! He has the image on t-shirts.

There is no substitute for unique graphics. But it is okay to use clip art for greeting cards and things.

I have spend alot of time creating work that has been stolen. I also know people who have been in trouble for stealing work. I never report anyone, simply inform them of the law to spare them the hassles. This may help some people.

For those who are unaware, web hosts can/will disable sites that use copyrighted materials without permission. This is not aimed at anyone in particular.

Try www.VectorArt.info as they have some samples you can freely download. They also have the lowest pricing on the biggest packages of high quality vector art on the internet today.

You can export vectors from photoshop, problem is that it only does one layer at a time. Then you still need to edit in a vector program like Freehand or Illustrator, which you should use in the first place to make vector art. I haven't found any good sites for just vectors, but usually find images I like then use Adobe's Streamline to get a rough outline then work with the images in freehand to get them where I want or just place art on a locked layer and start tracing/editing in Freehand. Been working on an apparel line that is all vector art, maybe will post it all someday.
