I just installed a vbulletin discussion board on mysql05 about 10 days ago and am getting very frustrated because there seems to be continuing problems with mysql05. It has gone down at least 3 times in those 10 days (a terrible statistic!). I am moving my discussion board from an ezboard to a vbulletin board on my own site because of unreliability problems with ezboard. Now I am coping with unreliability problems with powweb!!

Not only that....it is very difficult to install and get a program running that is very new to you without problems with the database you are installing it on! At first I think it's something *I* did wrong and then I realize that no, it's the database down again! :(

The latest problem....just before I went to bed last night I saw that my board was down completely. When I get up to check it this morning it is back again but there are posting problems! Here is the message I get when I try to post:

Database error in vBulletin 2.3.4:

Invalid SQL: SELECT wordid, title FROM word WHERE title IN ('test','test','test')
mysql error: Can't open file: 'word.MYI'. (errno: 145)

mysql error number: 1016

Sorry to hear that m8...
I own two sites both on the 05MySQL server and with my VB on them and other MySQL programs and all of them are getting errors atleast 10x a day from different ppl and for different reasons..

I posted before about lag from this server (www05MySQL) but was just kinda pushed aside...

I do website design on the side, I just added another site to powweb and that one also uses the ww05MySQL server and gets the same errors.. Its getting to the point that I might have to look for another hosting company (But I don't want to leave powweb) :(

I beg the staff to look into the 05 Server
