Free Graphics Program

For those who can not afford a graphics program like Photoshop or even PSP, there is a decent one available for free.

It's called Oriens Enhancer (http://www.oriens-solution.com/). For those on dialup, be forwarned that it is an 11.4 Meg download.

I've only played with it a little, but it seems to have almost everything except layers, but it does allow you to overlay 2 images and manage the opacity of the overlay. It even makes an executable image with effects added (like water ripples), not sure what good that is but it does it :D.

I believe it will even create screensavers and avi's out of image sequences. (haven't tried that yet)

GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is an excellent photo graphics program which is free. It's a program that can do most of the basic things photoshop can do such as layers, channels, etc

I've even read of some graphic designers preferring it over photoshop but me personally, I prefer photoshop.
