Transparent Background & HTML Editors

I need some help finding a graphic editing program that will allow me to save a clip art with a transparent back ground.

also I need a cheep, but user friendly, HTML editor that will allow a client with no HTML knowledge to edit text on a web page and then save it for up loading. Or even better, java script that can be embeded into the page that the user can use to edit current data on the page.

Need to finish this project so I can get paid.

most graphic editors will allow you to save as transparent gif format i suggest you do a google search to find out all about transparent gif

The latest version of Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.us/) has an option while saving images as gifs to select which color you want to have set as transparent.


cheap editors are legion on the net, do a search in download.com or tucows.com

how much money do you wanrt to spend ? many are free but for a $163 or so get netobjects fusion it is THE most user friendly web site tool out there and is VERY powerful, you can build a professional site in minutes !! comes with loads of ready made templates which you can mix and match very simply

if you are looking for on the fly editing ( a user edits a web page from their pc) you need content management tools, many are free scripts many are stand alone programs, do a search for content management
