mySQL problem (unable to select database)

When i've set up a new mySQL account, database or whatever it's called. Does it take a few days before it works? I'm using the servername that's on the mySQL page in ops but when i try to run the script, all it says it "unable to select database". Any ideas on what could be wrong?

No, it's fairly instantaneous. Post your code (minus password info of course) and let's see what the problem could be.

The DB/user/passwd are all case SenSitive.
Check them in ops to make sure you have them correct.
