Layout for website?

Buddies!

I want to create layout for friend's website and im looking for good tutorials if you have any? I want to have simple layout, which I can include with php or SSI. Any good tutorials? I want to learn how to create layout and this is the good reason to learn.

i dont know of many tutorials for doing website layouts, do you mean how to code it or how to make it look?

for coding you can use frames, or if you know php i would suggest doing php tables.

if your talking about the visual aspect of the page thats just something you need to come up with on your own, if you look around most professional level webpages are divided into sections for links, content, banners, ads, etc. Usually the layout style is 1 of several popular themes.
