Hi guys,
there are some images with black back ground for example.. if i put it on white background, it will look bad. So how can make it transparent? so it fits all backgrounds?

Setting a transparency for an image all depends on what graphic program you are using.

The only formats that support transparency are .gif and .png of which the .gif is the most used and easiest to set as transparent.

You can not set a transparent color for a jpg/jpeg image.

What graphic program are you using?

Most graphic editors that can handle gif format, will be able to use it's transparancy option.

For example, I use NeoPaint - see: www.neosoftware.com.

Hope this helps.

I do most of my graphics work in Photoshop, though for certain tasks I do use several other applications.

You talked about making a background transparent. If you are creating a gif image and want to set the background as transparent it is a completely different procedure than taking any old image and hoping to set certain elements as visible and make the rest of that image transparent.

In either case, there is a bit of a learning curve.

If you acquire an image editing app and get yourself started, I am sure someone here will help you do what you want.

If it is not a big thing, perhaps I might be able to fix your graphic up for you. I do this all the time. But, you know the saying..."give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime".
