Hoping there's an expert around that can tell me why NetObjects tells me the publish is successful, only the site is not publishing at powweb.
Published to http://kudzugarden.tripod.com with no problems. But my powweb site won't publish http://kudzugarden.com
Brand new to powweb and not real web savvy, so I really appreciate the input!
Make sure you set your host directory to htdocs.

I do like fusion and have had no problems until now.
Changed directory to htdocs, then /htdocs, then //htdocs as instructed by tech support and what happens?
check it out... kudzugarden.com
it's totally scrambled
tech support kept telling me the same stuff over & over, then finally wrote me off, blaming it on fusion. I know that's not the case as all I changed in fusion was the directory, as instructed.
any clues on what I should do next?
Wow, reminds me of the 60's :D
Looks like everything was uploaded in Binary or something. Realy strange.
Not familiar with Fusion, but there should be a way to set certain file types, html/text/css/cgi/pl files need to be uploaded in ASCII format while photo's/images/graphics/music need to be uploaded in Binary format.

Hi,
You replied to this thread in March...having problems with netojects/powweb again. Would you mind looking at the site telling me what you think? www.kudzugarden.com
Thanks!

What version of NO are you using ? Did it work before and has since started playing up or have you had these images problems since the start ?

YaY a NOFusion fan. I love it and know it intimately.
He has V7 Paul.
You don't need to set any binary/ASCII extensions, it's all automatic.
Open NOF> Publish Site> click the little pencil> New Profile> enter this exactly
Profile name: PowWeb <--can be anything really
FTP Host: ftp01.powweb.com <--you'll find your ftp0# in OPS
Directory: htdocs <--no slashes or spaces
Username: FTP username <--may be same as OPS
Password: FTP password <--may be same as OPS
Now click Advanced Publish Settings> select Home Page Filename as Index and File extension as .html> click OK
In the Pages to Publish field select "Entire site"
Whenever you're online and ready to go click Publish
