My site is apparently offline even though i did not go over the daily GB limit.

VirtualHost disabled
Your website is not accessible because your HTTP service is not active.

WTF DO I DO! MY WEBSITE HAS ALOT OF PEOPLE DEPENDING ON IT AND I NEED IT UP!

ok i got this "apparently" they shut down my site...

Im wondering if i did not go over my daily GB usage, whats the deal here...

From the FAQ:


<snip>If any account jeopardizes our server or network, we will address this problem as soon as possible. A website is considered to be using "excessive amounts of resources" when the website uses 10% or more of our system resources for 60 seconds or longer. There are numerous problems that could cause such problems including: CGI scripts, FTP, HTTP, etc. We reserve the right to suspend any hosting account that we feel is jeopardizing our network.

Check any cgi or php scripts that you are running. Look in your log files and check the notice that Powweb sent to you (and placed in your "History" in OPs). Those should give you an idea of what caused the problem.

often times resource abuse is cause by overusing your mysql allotment
