james' thread on new subdomain support:
http://forum.powweb.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33302
powweb faq which points to the old method:
Do you offer sub-domain (something.domain.com)?
This is also called canonical domains. You can point sub-domains to a folder in your home directory using a .htaccess file. We have a helpful tutorial located at http://help.powweb.com that will walk you through the process.
This is here:

If a Powweb staff is reading the forum . . . you may want to fix this. I found this when responding to a thread on subdomains where folks are still giving out "old advice", as does the FAQ.
