First of all congratulations on the new webmail look, it is much more user friendly. However there seems to be a flaw in opening attachments. I have sent Word and Excel test file but when I open them I am getting only blank pages. Any suggestions??

Ok, this seems to be a bug. I was able to replicate. Our developers have been made aware of it, but may not have a solution for quite some time.

For now, do not use Web mail to receive any word or exec documents.

Yes, that also happened to me today.
I send an email with a .jpg file as attachment, to test the web mail, and couldn't see it. Tonight, when I tried again, the program offered to download the file to my computer, but I only received a 0kb file.

Ok folks, after repeated testing, it seems that attachments works fine.

What I did:

Compose > Browse (find file you want to attach) > Attach > Select Attached file (there’s a little check box) > Click on "attach" again (you will see the kb go from 0 to whatever the file size is you are sending) > Send.

Starr, thanks for prompt reply, but I think you are missing the point. I sent the attachments from my normal email a/c using Outlook 2000, (which is how my contacts would be sending attachments) but was unable to read them on POW Webmail. ie the problem is reading attachments sent from non-webmail based clients in Pow Webmail rather than sending them!!

I've checked your POP account using webmail and I was able to view both your MS Word and Excel attachment. If anyone else is having this problem, please email me the domain name so I can futher investigate.
