Could anyone answer:
While trying to work with FTP in Dreamweaver, every now and again, I get hit with different "trojans" and then cannot access my site thru FTP. I can go back into the "webFTP".
Why do I get hit, and will this always happen at PowWeb?
Should I look for another host?

It has nothing to do with PowWeb, and you aren't actually being hit by a Trojan.

Norton Internet Security looks for certain patterns in network access. Some of them, such as a quick sequence of connects to the same URL, match a pattern of a particular Trojan. I use NIS and Dreamweaver and have seen this come up with uploading by FTP. What I usually end up doing is turning off the rule, as it is a bit too general. However, I find that NIS2004 seems to be a lot smarter in this regard - I haven't had to turn off any rules in that version.

Another thing that I find helps is to check the "Use passive FTP" box in Dreamweaver.
