Problem accessing the database with mysqlfront

I have used this program before to access the database and had no problems but at the moment I cannot get it to connect to the database.

I set a new name and password in the OPS and have the correct database name but it always comes back as an error and will not connect.

IP: mysql02.powweb.com
Username : name
Password ; password
port 3306
timeout 30 seconds
database name

This is the error I keep getting.

2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql02.powweb.com' (10060)


Any idea what is happening here ?

You can't use MySQL-Front because PowWeb doesn't have remote access enabled. See this (http://forum.powweb.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30003) announcement.

You'll need to use http://phpmyadmin.powweb.com.

Thanks Tom, I did not know about the change but it solved the problem, I had some nerd join using a weird combination of characters and the PHPBB2 software in admin could not recognise it so I could not delete it from the forum software.
