hate mail is so hard to come by these days. i've been trying to get the TVC (http://www.traditionalvalues.org) mad at me forever!
Select your fighter.. i would choose Mr.T because from the picture, it looks as if this is his pre-1800COLLECT era. he was a mean mo-fo then. :D
Halterlady, you have a nice site, I'd certainly buy a halter from you (if I still had my horse ;) )
Grahm, you should take a look at your site under Netscape, I'd recommend using tables instead of spans (Netscape is not as span friendly as MS). Also, unless I'm reading it wrong, all text that's not specifically formatted falls under the "bodi" class, is that correct? If this is the case, Netscape is having a problem reading this class. The other pages I checked on your site seem to work well in Netscape, it's mostly a prob with the main page I believe. I think the site looks much better without the background, and I would think about breaking up the text on the main page a little by adding a couple more graphics. Well, that's my opinion :)

i've considered tables but after much thought i refused to use them for layout. absolute and relative positioning allow for greater flexibility and classes simplify many common headaches.
actually the problems with Netscape arise when i use SSI more than the spans. but only Netscape4.x... NS6+ does a fine job of rendering HTML standards and .shtmls.
ah that Netscape has been a thorn in my side ever since i started web programming. :)
i do agree about breaking up the main page a bit and have been slowly rebuilding..
thanks for your comments everyone!
