FTP login for users who have had not logged in for more than 90 days will automatically be disabled. You can easily reactivate them by reseting/changing the password for them in OPS.

This is to help protect our customers sites from the increasing number of attacks and "hacker" activity on the internet. This is one of a number of changes we will be making to help make your data more secure.

PowWeb recommends that if you do not use your FTP/Mail accounts regularly, that you disable logins for these accounts in OPS.

If you do use them regularly, use strong passwords containing letters and numbers, mixed case, and even special characters. Use different passwords for all your services, and try to change them regularly.
