I'm getting strange errors suddenly whenever invision powerboard tries to send an email from my site.. it's been working fine for the past year almost, but now suddenly I'm getting this error:
Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to localhost:25 in /www/j/jschleifer/htdocs/forum/sources/lib/emailer.php on line 475
Mail Error!
SMTP protocol failure!
Host: localhost
Return Code:
Return Msg:
Invision Power Board Error: Could not open a socket to the SMTP server
Check your SMTP settings from the admin control panel
has anyone else seen this? I'm not sure what could have changed..
any help is greatly appreciated!!
