My site is suffering a sever problem with powweb hosting
in one month it has been down for many times

Powweb replies comes like:

We are currently moving our Netapp servers to it's new location It will
take
about 30-45 minutes to complete the move

== Why didn't you inform me before that?!!

or

The name servers for your domain do not point to PowWeb:

== I have other sites running with the same method and they are just fine .

or

We provide shared hosting so at times the traffic may be high which causes some services to
refuse connections

== I did not know about this sharing before?!

or

I have been to the account on the browser and it appears to be working.
== (of course it is working now after fixing the problem )

Guys I am really tired of these sudden shutdowns
I moved from a good hosting provider looking for a better one to improve my site and business, but unfortunately I found that I was fooled by Powweb advertisements
Support is almost 0% comparing with others

live chat is another big lie
telephone also no respondings even the recorder you can not record your problem on a message
Pand-width is !!!!???????? You all know the answer :(

waiting for your suggestions and helps

Regards

If you are concerned about your server it would help if you tell us what it is - like www09 ftp02 etc.. Others may agree and share your problem but I'm not one of them thankfully, and I'm on several servers here.

PowWeb did preannounce the Netapp move.

I have been here for almost two years with five sites now, and the service keeps getting better. If you thought PowWeb was giving you dedicated hosting, you were mistaken. But I have no complaints about the reliability or performance of my sites here.

What's your domain with the non-standard DNS configuration?

Ok
Thanks to all of you for trying to help
I just look over for the server name and I fond out it is
www10.powweb.com
Thanks Hunter

Hi stevel
I can tell from your way of replying , I can tell that you're the Boss here.
Sir,
No, I don't think that powweb is giving me a dedicated hosting.
But I was believing them on giving me the 5 Gigs/Day! of Data Transfer/
also
I was believing that they will give me
24/7 Live Chat & Email Support
7 Days Toll-Free Support (1-877-4-POWWEB)
Tutorials and Support Documentations
Live Servers/System Announcements

And I really was shocked when I find out what they really gives
Every time I go to the SUPPORT page looking for help
The only thing I get is a smiley Chinese face picture and is offline

and the telephone support too
nothing there is "24/7 Live" as I know so far
Thanks Boss

Before I forget
my domain is fursa.net

Thanks again

my domain is fursa.net Now unless you just changed the nameservers yesterday, they aren't pointing to PowWeb just as support told you:

Registrar: ENOM, INC.

The "smiley Chinese face" refers to the picture accompanying the "live chat" feature.

It is not required that one point to PowWeb's name servers, but if you don't, you had better make sure you have it set up correctly on your own nameserver. I can see that fursa.net has an A record pointing to www10, which is ok, but there is no MX record so this domain cannot receive e-mail.

It is the e-mail support which is 24/7, not the Live Chat.

fursa.net is coming up fine for me.
