There are several security issues concerning almost every flavor of Windows OS's and Outlook Express as stated on Microsofts Security Updates for April 2004 (http://www.microsoft.com/security/security_bulletins/200404_windows.asp). If you have Outlook Express installed (even if you aren't using it), then you need to be aware of these issues as well. No matter which Windows OS you are running, you need to run your Window Update to get the security patches installed.
On another note, Microsoft is offering "For Free" a Windows Security Update CD (http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/cd/order.asp). This CD contains all of the security updates up to March of 2004. This is a good way to have those updates on hand if you need to reformat your system (much faster than downloading them all again).
