Does anyone have any input on what this problem could be caused by: Random images won't appear. They come up as X's. Sometimes when I click a link, the info bar at the top and the URL will have the address that I want, but a different page (one that had been viewed earlier in the day or something) will actually pull up. Also, when i click a link, it will say "Page not Found", but if I hit refresh, occasionally it will go ahead and pull up. This doesn't happen with just a few sites, but lots of them, all on different servers.
I've never had these type of problems before, and am unsure what to do about them. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Probably supplying your OS name and version and browser name and version would allow people to give more pointed assistance. As of now I am thinking you are running Windoze <95/98/SE/NT/2000/XP/...> and using Internet Exploder <whatever version> and may have a virus OR have installed some recent "security" patches from M$ that are flakey.
Do you have an AV package and do you virus scan regulary? Did you recently install any M$ "security" patches?
Since I am coming from the Unix world to your problem I am inclined to suggest the goat headdress, painted body, incense and live chicken sacrifice on the keyboard while dancing naked in circles around the system to the beat of drums. But I think that only works in Unix. ;)

Well, if the above ritual doesn't do the trick :) then you might want to get SpyBot S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/) and run it to see if you've picked up some spy/ad/mal ware on your system.
Make sure you have the latest updates for your AV and run a full Anti-Virus scan of your system to make sure it's clean.
