Did anyone watch The Apprentice? Call me crazy, but I actually liked it. I'm not big on reality shows, but this one wasn't cut out of the same mold as the other 1464 reality series out there.

I really thought Kwame was the better of the final two...

Didn't see a single episode. Kind of like you, I am not into "reality" shows. The only one I was ever the very little tiniest bit interested in was the original Survivor. But then everyone else jumped on the "reality" bandwagon and the rest is history.... Maybe I'm just getting old :)

The Apprentice is NOT a reality show. It is a CONTEST.

By that thinking, then Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race, etc. are all contests, which they are. But they're all grouped into reality shows as well.

I try to explain why I hate The Apprentice.

I go to school for business management... I work hard at my job... I strive in every way to excel in business.

Imagine if you were in health care, wanting to be a nurse... wouldn't it make you sick to your stomach to see a show about nurses having to grovel for a job?

It makes me sick... Trump was a millionaire's kid, he blew all his money and went more into debt than most of us will ever have money in the postives. No wonder he's got so much now... not hard to create a revenue stream when you wasted as much as he did on creating it. Go figure. I'd go a few million in debt to get ahead, too... you know, if I had been born to rich parents and not had to FIGHT for my sub US$10 job.

How sad.

I too have a BBA in Management. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying the entertainment that is The Apprentice. Your groveling comment I think is somewhat on target, but at the same time, the exposure and education aspects of being on the show was priceless for the sixteen candidates.

Couldn't watch. That odd hair sculpture on top of The Donald's head was too distracting.

Hair? Is that what it was? I thought our forum friend SkunkBoy was putting something on his head to promote himself.

I wondered how much he had to pay to do that, but now that you mention it's hair... hummmm... Makes me have to rethink the meaning of life.
