Hi!
I did this foolish thing one day. While trying to clean up my hard drive of unwanted files I removed important ones...

Now when browsing in my folders (windows explorer) in my images folder I have problem viewing them. Instead of clicking on a file, having a viewer show me the picture, it asks me for a file "program.exe" ....

(I am aware Windows has it`s own viewer but I think I had another one installed from a trial software...it is no longer there...possibly one the deleted programs)

Now If I could just get one viewer to work on all files it would be perfect.

I`am running Xp.
Thanks Luc

Right click an image file> Open with> Choose program> Windows picture and fax viewer> Ok. (you can repeat and tick 'always use this program' if that works).

You stated that you "deleted" programs? Hope that you meant you "uninstalled" them and not deleted!

You might want to take a look at XnView (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pierre.g/xnview/enxnview.html) for a graphics viewer. It handles around 400 different image extensions (types), plus it's FREE.
