importing .mbx files to new hard drive

I want to import Outlook Express email messages from an old HD to the new hard drive and the Outlook Express program. What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

mbx? Is this outlook express 4?

Anyway...find you mbx files, copy them to your new computer. Put them on your desktop or somewhere easy to find. Open up your new Outlook Express.

I'm assuming the new version is 6. I'm sure the instructions for importing from 5 and 4 are similar. Anyway,when you open OE, create your new profile if you so desire, or not.

Then go to file, import, messages.
In the list, choose your version of outlook express.
If you are importing from 4, click your browse button and find your mbx files.

That should work. Your address book is a separate animal and ends in *.wab. There's a separate function under import for importing the address book.
