Hi.

i've jut got an Asus FM TV Tuner.

for the past 2 days i'm trying to get the sound to work when i watch TV.

When i'm listening to radio the sound is OK.

When i watch Tv the sound i get .. only noise.. like when u don't have a signal or is scrambled.

All about the card you can see here: http://www.asus.com/products/vga/tvfm/overview.htm

OS: Winsows XP with SP1
Sound card on board from C-Media: CMI8738/C3DX PCI Audio

How can i make the sound work ?

Just to make sure, Have you installed the most recent drivers for the hardware? HAve you tried removing the drivers and reinstalling them? Has it at any time worked completly, or has the sound never worked since you installed it?

Well its a long shot buy try reinstalling the drivers. Also make sure that the cable connected to it is fastened securely and lined up right. In all the troubleshooting I have ever done, I have found that the easiest answers usually fix the toughest problems. If this doesn't work, then I am assuming you have some of the configurations set wrong. PErhaps you could try there technical support line? Usually companies offer a year or two of free support. Good luck!

ok. now i do not have the same problem with the DVD.

I managed to get sound from some chanels (90%). But there is a trik. from the sound card i nonect to the speakers with a jack-RCA cable. If i use only one RCA i get sound but only if i use stereo on the Tuner. If i switch to mono i get that crazy sound again.
