do you know localhost for powweb?

i want localhost for powweb becasue this is file in vb Bulletin want local host for my serves

they are just asking for the server name where your mySql database is stored. localhost may not work for some (their database is on a different server to their webspace).

When you ordered MySql, it would have told you what server you are on, i.e. venus.powweb.com or terra.powweb.com, etc.

it looks like youve filled it in properly, as long as asteriod is the server your database is on, and the username and password are correct.

its telling you that table already exists and it cant create it. Have you tried installing it already (is this the second or more time youve tried to do it)? If so then you may need to delete the tables before doing it again. Otherwise youll keep trying it and it wont work.

you have to use a mysql client or install phpMyAdmin to do this.

Not necessarily nothing. You have a chance to learn about MySQL, about working with databases, about web servers and how to work through them to use cgi scripts, all sorts of stuff! And you've got helpful people like Sophiespo helping you learn for free! Don't give up yet. But you'll have to work on it. Powweb is not a host for people who cannot help themselves as they encounter problems. Stick with it and you'll have a nice site once you're done! :D

You dont have to lose your money for nothing. Just dont try and jump in at the deep end if youre not sure what youre doing.

I can install it for you, but you will have to send me a private message with some info in it, your ftp username, password, server and your mysql username, password, database name and server.

i install vBulletin 2.2.1 many times but in powweb i have big problems i don't know why
