PayPal Shopping Cart

I have a question regarding PayPal's free shopping card called "Online Store" (Version 3.82) 1.1.8. (not sure what the 1.1.8. is). Anyway, I'm trying to configure it (seems to work just fine) but when I try to publish it with FrontPage (the FrontPage way), it doesn't load properly. All I get is a gray box with a red X in the top left hand corner. This I believe has something to do with JAVA Scripting. I have JAVA enabled on my browser and FrontPage. In fact, when I execute the PayPal Shopping Cart on my hard drive, it loads just fine and my products appear complete with photo of the item. I followed their instructions exactly (don't we all) but they seem to be missing some important steps. Can somone help me please. And I hope and pray someone doesn't come along and say "you're using a lousy program". I want to use it because it is integrated with PayPal which is getting to be popular and best of all it's free!! Someone please help me with step by step instructions. Than you kindly!

JavaScript is unrelated to Java (mostly).

Can you give us a URL for a page that is giving you problems? There's nothing wrong with the PayPal Store.

I haven't actually loaded the page, I will try it again. If I succeed, you can find it at http://www.globalstar-intl.com/shop.htm (or html). Which brings up another question, I'm under the impression that Powweb requres file extentions to end in *.htm NOT *.html. But PayPal store forces the file name shop.html to be saved in *html. Is this a real problem? It was for my other files.

Well, it looks like no one here is knowledgeable with PayPal's Shopping Cart which tells me it's not a very good program. I haven't been able to get it to work - just plain and simple. So---anyone know of a good Shopping Cart program available for download? I prefer one that is free. I"ve been trying to get my business going but I have run into nothing but problems with setting up my site and I'm almost broke! Any ideas? I've trashed PayPal's shopping cart because it obviously has flaws in it because no one to this date has been able to help me with it.

This forum section is primarily about osCommerce, not generic eCommerce solutions. People who read here probably don't use PayPal Shopping Cart because they're using osCommerce.

The PayPal Shooping Cart may be fine - but you'll have to look for help on it elsewhere.
