I`m having problems installing a mailing list cgi script from MAtt`s. PowWeb seems to be on a different clock as their 24 hour message reply promise seems to have expired.
500 Internal Server Error - Premature end of script headers in the error log. Permissions are right. What`s the deal? billyDe

billyDe, did you also set permissions on the sub-directory (if you put it in a sub-directory) for the script as well?

If it's like this:

/cgi-bin/mailscript.cgi

Then just set the permissions on the script and be sure all the paths are correct including the path to perl.

If it's like this:

/cgi-bin/mail/mailscript.cgi

Then be SURE to chmod the /mail (or whatever) directory to 755 as well.

I know what I`m supposed to do as far as permissions. I`ve set all directories to 755. I must have something wrong with the script. Do you have another mailing list script in mind that might work?

For the best freebie go to:

Get Mojo Mail. Installation instructions are simple and the program is powerful.
