how much time?

I have a hunch i've done something wrong...

I just published my website (www.smithfamilypage.com) that was created in MS Frontpage, and when i try to access it, i get a "under construction" page.

Is there a certain amount of time i should allow for it to be accessed?

I've installed Frontpage extension - is there something else i've missed?

Pardon for the stupid questions, but this is the first website i've done, and am completely green in this matter.

all pages tat you want people to see ..... should be publishes to the /htdocs directory...

with the first page.... being index.htm...... or index.html....
to overwrite the underconstruction page.... name the first page index.html......

anyway.... once you get the hang of it..... the changes are immediate...... no lag.... or wait period between the time of publishing.... and viewing..... that's one of the things that make this so great...... immediate changes....

get yourself an FTP program.... and you can check your directories.... you can find plenty of freeware FTP programs around..... and use the info.... supplied in your setup letter... to make sure the files are being put into the /htdocs folder....
