Is there anything wrong with ftp02.powweb.com? I have been trying to update html files but nothing seems to be updated. The browser shows only the old files and nothing is updated.

Thanks and best wishes.

What FTP client are you using??

Did you clear out your temp internet files and refresh your screen??

I use a Mac and I use Transmit for FTP. I have been updating my other domains not hosted by PowWeb and everything's okay. It is only the domain hosted by PowWeb that is giving problems. Can you help? Thanks.

Have you cleared your cache?.

What is your domain www point us to an 'updated' page and we see if it is.

I have cleared the browser cache. In fact, as a test, I have just deleted the index.html file for the front page and even without that file, the front page still shows up. The domain is:-

http://WorldWideWindowWatching.com

Hope you can help :-)

Only the directory is listed, but no home page. Ftp the page again.

Okay, I just uploaded the index.html file again. Can you see the HomePage now? How come I can see the Home Page from here even without the index.html file? I have cleared the browser cache and even restarted my computer. Please help and thanks.

I can see the page fine now. Don't know why you could still see it without the index file.

I'm getting it fine now to kayes. It sounds like it's a DNS issue on your Mac or at your ISP. The changes are being made live to powweb servers so it will filter through to you in time. You can also try something other than www http://xyz.worldwidewindowwatching.com to see the changes.

Hi and thanks for the tip. I also suspect it could be a DNS issue. I made the changes to my front page almost 15 hours ago but I still can't see the changes. At about the same time (15 hours ago) I uploaded this folder:-

http://WorldWideWindowWatching.com/simon/simon.html

and it could be seen as soon as I uploaded it. How come?

Thanks and best wishes.

....and it could be seen as soon as I uploaded it. How come?...As above, your Mac or your ISP is holding a cached version of your page. The new page came up straight away because there was no older version sitting in the cache. A DNS flush may help but I'm not sure how to do it on a Mac. I'm sure someone here will tell how to shortly. Basicly That clears all the stored www addresses from your cache.
