Sincerely,
PowWeb Staff
Regular backups have been taken from my forum using the IPB built-in facility, without any problems.

NO changes have been made to the script.

This error has now happened on 2 different forums, and has not been resolved through the usual channels.

Could you guys fix this problem for me please, I really do need to take backups, and I'm sure it's not me causing the problem - Unless you know better.............

And if you do, could you please tell me how to avoid it happening again?

Thanks,

BHD

If your post is requesting a powweb backup, which is the way I understand it, your better option is to give powweb a call directly.

*just tryin' to save further frustration*

I just want to carry on doing my own backups, as I have done all the time.....

Until this problem reared its head again, now on two different versions of IPB.

I'm 99% certain the problem is not of my causing.

hmmm I'm not the best at scripts; but, you may want to try chat.powweb.com - there's a few others of us from the forum hiding in there.

Simple copy of 500 errorpage is not so useful
for understanding what's wrong.

As it says, check your error_log and corresponding entries in access_log.
You can paste some entries form log files here to get better suggestions than mine.
