mats formail setup ?

Any one using Mats formail pl and was there problems , i just want a simple formail for my site users to fill out.

it takes abit of reading but all the info you need is there

You can try this (http://www.prettyworthless.com/powweb/tips.php#q20), user-supplied (by B&T) script too, just one file to mess with, it's about as uncomplicated as you can get.

Thanks for the reply, i was just trying to get a heads up on any "got-chas", and besides i'm not good at all that tech lingo stuff.

Please do NOT use "Matt's FormMail Script" - it is full of security holes that spammers exploit with ease. There are other solutions available, including AlienForm.

No matter what you do, do not name the script file "FormMail" or any variant thereof - pick a random name (and use the same name in your web page that references it). It doesn't matter what you call it in order to work, but spammers look for "FormMail" and different capitalizations, file types and locations.
