Odd WebFTP thing...

I'm a new user and I'm only using my Powweb account to store a fan music video for the time being. Last night I tried to upload a different format for someone, but the upload seemed to go no where and timed out.

Then this morning I thought I try again, but now when I try to go to the directory, first by going into the htdocs folder and then a folder called CDD_Vid, the only folder in there, it just loops back to the CGI and htdocs directory, even though it says I'm at the other folder above. I can keep going through this loop.

The folder is there when I use the URL to it, so what's up with that. Could it be related to why the upload failed last night.

Anyone ever have this problem? I'm sure most use something else other than the webftp, but I'm only uploading like 3 files so far.

No I have not had that problem ...

Try another ftp program and see if you get the same results.

it's not just him... i am getting the same thing in the webftp.. and I am unable to test another ftp program until i get home from work.

i was using it fine for an hour and a half this morning and i needed to get some more done also.

well it seems to be back.. at least for the time being.

I experienced the same problem, last night.
But it's back to normal, now.

I like webftp pretty much.
I would like it more if "Edit" and other links are not in JavaScript
but simple relative link.
Short "alt text" on buttons would be nice since I often navigate images off.

Yeah, looks like the webftp is working now. Heres to hoping my file uploads okay this time.

I am seeing the same thing. In fact I tried to do a SAVE AS from a link in webFTP (as I have done before) to save a file locally to edit. It's not working.
