Being blunt...
Fix your goddam link hover style. every time I roll the mouse pointer over a link the whole page dances around because your hover style sets a different font size. Hover styles should not alter the weight, style or size text. See attached images if you don't know what I'm talking about.
Second, use text-align:left rather than text-align:justify. Your 'Never Forget' blog (27 May) looks stupid.
Your Iraq blog has way too much text and could do with some paragraph breaks. Noone is going to read it the way it is.
I don't think Mirzabah liked it :)
I would also get rid of the link underlines in your main meni bar.
well the hover on your links makes them smaller and i think usually it makes them bigger but its not that big a deal i dont think,i guess a comment or two on what your site is about mite be nice, i guess its a place you can rant? is that correct? i agree with your why we are in iraq seems like you mite be ex military, your about area is limited in what we learn about you perhaps you do that on purpose. you have some neat things here and there and i think the site is all about what you think so thats cool depends who you are trying to draw to it. If you are trying to make money i really have no idea how you are going to do that so make it more obvious ,,,,cool site man

I agree that the hover text is annoying. The domain name is strange, but the mascot fish is funny. The page is centered but does not fill the screen at a higher resolution. There is alot of scrolling for the home page.
The forum looks nice, but the color scheme does not match the website. Try to include the fish image on your forum at the top of the page. There are links to other websites that should open in a new window instead of the same window.
I do not want to comment on politics in this forum, but I know why the fish is "upset". ;)
First off, let me say thanks for the pointers, advice, criticism.
I have fixed the hover link issue. As far as the text alignment issue from the 27 May post, I see the screenshots, but it does not show up like that on my computer or another computer at work on a totally differnet ISP. I took a look at the code and made a change, so hopefully it is resolved. If not, please let me know.
I am also working on the color scheme for the forum. Just having to learn how is the biggest issue.
Can you give me specific examples of what links to outside site open in the same window instead of a new one? I thought I had made them all open in new windows, but if I missed some, please let me know so that I can fix them.
As far as the site in general, it is just a place for me to rant and rave. It is just a hobby, nothing more.
Again, thanks for the critique. Keep it coming.

I would recommend taking it back a step. Some kind of hover change is a good idea. Color, or lines.
Edit--That front page of May Star design is frickin' flippy as all get out!

Your horizontal navigation menu has links to May Star Design and SemiStix Studio which should open in a new window.
OK, I have added some line breaks to my Iraq blog. It does look and read much better now. I have also fixed the links in the navigation bar so that they open in new windows.
I am in the process of changing the pages to that they have the same color scheme as the home page. Boy is that taking some time.
Anyway, thanks again for the comments, and if you see anything else that needs to be fixed, or just any improvements that I can make, please let me know.

Aren't you using CSS? If you're going into each file and changing something now, you might as well use CSS to their full capability. Include all the tags and style them afterward in a linked file. Plan ahead. If you have two tables that will need to look different, do include all of the style code now. Just categorize them into <td class="first"> and <td class="second"> (or whatever), and then mess with the style in the CSS file.
Dabrowski,
No, I am not using CSS. To be honest, I don't know a thing about them or how to set them up. Can you tell me where I can find out more?
Thanks,

Finally the forum colors are redone, so that they match the homepage. I am going to change the green on the homepage to match the green in the forums, and then I will be happy with that part. Next project will be to change the links page colors so that they match. What do you think so far??

Much better. I like it when the forum matches the website. You could use the logo (domain name image) from the forum on your website to match as well.
one other thing after scrolling all the way to the bottom how about giving us a link back to the top? it is a simple anchor link might make it easier or then again maybe not see ya
