ShutDown/Reboot?

Hey all, I know this should be simple, well it sure seems like it, but I can't think of it. My mother inlaw just sent a message asking me to help. Her computer, when she goes to "shutdown", it "reboots". So the only way to kill it is to push the main power. What the heck is it that causes that? Thanks Ed

Not to be Captain Obvious...but when you choose shutdown...there are a few options (log off, shutdown, restart).

Make sure she selects shutdown.

Yes, I have thought about that. :) BUT, I figured I would give the old gal the benefit of the doubt, and see if ANYone has ran across anything I haven't heard about yet. Thanks. Ed
