I have a client that I've created a specialized shopping cart for, and I need a way to access FedEx behind the scenes so that I can send them the weight of the items bought, the sending and destination zip codes, and the shipping method and get the price back. I talked with FedEx, and the only behind the scenes method is an API that you have to install in your account. Powweb uses FreeBSD, and the only downloads for the API are Linux and Sun Solaris versions. I don't know much about operating systems - will one of these work? Does anyone have any other solution that they've done to get FedEx working nicely?
