Saturday morning - mail server down

Cannot access mail via mail client - no error message - it just quits trying.
Same client accesses other accounts fine.

Access via mail.<mydomain>/com or mail.powweb.com shows:

The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.
Please contact the server administrator,
admin@powweb.com and inform them of the time the error occurred,
and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.
More information about this error may be available
in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Even the error handling doesn't work.

Since mail.powweb.com dosn't work, it isn't bloody likely that I can "contact the server administrator", at least via e-mail.

Anybody know what's happening?

Sorry for the delay. I was a one man show. :\ Other admin was sick and our devel guy was on a wee vacation.

Murphy’s Law dictates that when you are at your weakest is when the poop will hit the fan. ;)

I'm still working on the SMTP issue, so you may fine it easier to just use your ISP for SMTP for the time being.

UPDATE 13:14 PDT: Mail and all is services have been functioning properly for several hours now.
