450000 Kilobyte (KB) = 439.453125 Megabyte (MB)
from OnlineConversion.com (http://www.onlineconversion.com/computer.htm).
No, actually, it's a good question. I have a GREAT little conversion program that makes it easy to cheat and convert virtually any measurement into anything else: Here's a copy: (Very simple, just unzip and run, doesn't need to install).

But still, I see measuremnts and wonder sometimes, how do I know if, 450000k (or such) is in kilobytes, or kilobits or, 450000MB is in megabits or megabytes??????? (OTHER wise I might still get it wrong with my cheat program). :D

If done correctly,
k = kilobits
Kb = kilobits
K = kilobytes
KB = kilobytes
Cool, so then:
m = megabits
Mb = megabits
M = megabytes
MB = megabytes
THEN though like ya say, you've got to trust whom ever put the one there you're using did it right. :(
If done correctly,
k = kilobits
Kb = kilobits
K = kilobytes
KB = kilobytes
