anyone else gettin this?
since about 8 hours ago my site has been uploading at an average of a few hundred bytes per second on ftp and through the webftp, and i have also experienced connection drops. any chance of sortin this out?
domain is capnhack.com, thanks
I just tried uploading a largish file to my callisto site and it went quick-as-a-wink. You may have a problem somewhere between you and callisto.

damn. i cant think what it could be. i disabled the firewall, tried passive and non passive transfers, checked on another ftp site to make sure it wasnt the client, checked uploading to other services on my compy..
is there a chance ive been capped? a couple of days ago i uploaded an entire site redesign, but even that was just 15 megs
Well, a few hundred bytes/sec wouldn't typically be capping. How are FTP download speeds for you from the site?

downloads are fine, its just the uploads
PowWeb doesn't cap anyone for any reason, if you go over your daily limits your just disabled. I've tested out FTP from home to callisto as well... I don't see a problem. And if you only experience it uploading and not downloading... I would almost have to say its probably your ISP. With most DSL, cable, or other broadband services you can download A LOT faster than you can upload.

i thought it was that, but i have other services open and they can upload to my full 40kps. its really strange.
i think ill just chalk it up as another of my weird unique problems that nobody has ever had before and nobody can explain..
