Be it form or function; what is it that you would see in the perfect website?

Nice, clean design that fits the theme of the site
simple to navigate
Information is easy to find
No popups, or javascript crap
Information that is relative to something I was looking for, or need
Something with the Olsen Twins...now that they're legal ;)

Depends on what type of site it is but either way, personal or business:
a) Clear contrast between text content and images/background
b) If audio, can it be shut off
c) Easy to navigate
d) Same look throughout the site - not a site where every page is completely different and you get lost trying to find a way back
e) Splel check, whut a wunderfa thing
f) Is it really that hard to check for dead links
If business:
a) Can I find your physical location
b) Phone numbers?
c) E-mail addresses easy to find?
d) When e-mailed... the turnaround for a reply? (okay, so this isn't design)

There is no perfect website, but any good website should:
Be easy to find. Good search engine ranking, links from other sites, or advertised in other forms of media. If they can't find it, they can't see it.
Be easy to read. No tiny fonts or fonts that blend into the background.
Be easy to navigate. I am looking for information and want to find it quickly.
Be quick-loading. Dialup users will leave before waiting for some sites to load. And many people skip Flash intros, including me.
Be informative. I want to find information on a topic that interests me. I expect to find contact information if I wish to contact you.
Be unique. I don't want to see another template site full of affiliate links, free games, free articles, free contents and no unique images or text. Would you buy 30 copies of the same book to read? No. One will be enough.
Be sticky. Add new contents to make people want to return to the website. Articles, games, photos, even forum posts are new contents to see.
Not be annoying, offensive or poorly designed. A nice color scheme and layout is expected. If the site is offensive, please include a warning on the home page at least and hopefully every page since people may enter the website on another webpage.
I could go on and on and on....
