Using referral money to get mySQL

I was wondering if it was possible to use the credits I got from the referrals in my account to have mySQL setup for my package? I didn't want to pay the 30$ myself for the setup but since I have enough referral credits in my account I wanted to know if this was a possible thing or if I absolutely needed to pay to have it setup.

That's a very good question. I know that you can use the referral funds to purchase additional months of hosting. You might wish to fire off an email to billing@powweb.com and ask them if and how you would go about doing this.

First step done: I have sent an email to Powweb's billing. I am now waiting for an answer. I will post the answer as soon as I can get it.

Well my work for getting referrals has paid off (in a way other than waiting for my package to renew)

My webmaster has informed me that he will be able to make our website a lot better with mySQL...can't wait for that to happen :)
